Eleventh-Anniversary Satsang with Sharada Ma
In this teaching, Sharada Ma takes us deeper into *Tapas* the inner heat of purification that dissolves the ego and reveals our true nature. Drawing on the bamboo and flute analogy from the Bhagavad Gita (chapter 3, verse 19), she describes how the patient, hollow, surrendered seeker becomes the instrument through which Krishna's song flows.
The satsang moves through pure intention, *shraddha* and *bhakti*, the nature of *sharanagati* (total surrender), the three yogas (Karma, Bhakti, Jnana), the Chinese bamboo story, Ramana Maharshi's teaching that "surrender is liberation," and practical guidance on *vasanas*, witnessing, and "pressing the delete button." Eric asks about the apparent conflict between selfless service and self-inquiry; Donna's question on discernment follows; the session then has a 60-minute guided meditation, the Infinite Grace Transmission.
Much love to every member of the Seva (Service) team of 11 years.
