Death of the Ego, Birth of the Self

*Continuing the Tapasya teachings from the 11th anniversary satsang, Sharada Ma takes the practice deeper — building the unshakable foundation, dropping the doership, and surrendering to the effulgent reality within.*

In this Dublin satsang, Sharada Ma deepens the *Tapasya* teaching from the previous week. The foundation is built on inner renunciation — burning the *prarabdha karmas*, dropping name and form, witnessing the *vasanas* as they rise, and resting in the *guru principle*. She invokes Adi Shankaracharya's *Nirvana Shatakam* and his disappearance into the Himalayas to point to *Brahman Satya, Jagat Mithya* — only consciousness is real, the world is supported by it but not it.

The session moves through the discipline of three-times-daily meditation, Dr. David Hawkins' calibration scale, the doership dropping into Karma Yoga, a verse from her own guru on bridging consciousness and action, and the *Shambho Shankara* bhajan. A 53-minute *Infinite Grace Transmission* meditation follows. The closing returns to making the foundation tight, reads a beloved student's testimonial on the transmission, and shares the origin story of *Chida Akash* — when Shambhu said *"build my home"* at the foothills of Arunachala.
