Jagat Mithya

Jagat mithya: the world is illusory, ever-changing, unreal. This is the second half of Adi Shankaracharya's great formula, Brahma satyam, jagat mithya: Brahman alone is the truth, the world alone is appearance. What we call our life is a believing in the unreal while the real exists within us every moment as awareness. One sentence finishes the whole satsang.
