Jiva

The jiva is the individual soul, the manifested form that you appear to be. Jivo brahmaiva naparah: the jiva is none other than Brahman itself. There is no God outside of you; the jivatman and the paramatman are one Atman. So do not belittle yourself with name and form. You are the manifested form, and yet not any different from the supreme.
