Maya is the veiling power that makes the unreal appear real; prakriti is the primordial nature out of which the show is woven. Brahma satyam, jagat mithya: Brahman alone is real, the world is mithya. Mother Maya comes in beautiful robes and mesmerizes; you are free from her control.
