Samadhi
समाधि
/sʌ.maː.dʰɪ/
Samadhi is the state of self-absorption, where the meditator, meditation, and object of meditation collapse into one. Savikalpa samadhi still has thoughts arising and is shaken by none of them; nirvikalpa samadhi is the deeper silence where thought itself has vanished and only "I am" remains.
