Upanishads

The Upanishads are the philosophical crown of the Vedas: the rishis turning from ritual to inward inquiry, asking who am I? They give us the mahavakyas: Tat tvam asi, that thou art; Aham brahmasmi, I am Brahman. Do Sharanagati, and you have understood them.
