Arunachala

Arunachala is the sacred mountain in Tiruvannamalai, the formless divinity worn as fire and stone. The name itself teaches: aruna is being, aliveness; achala is the unmoved. When the mind comes to rest, it has no choice but to dissolve into the Self. Arunachala is the fire element, burning the Vasanas that Sadhana alone cannot reach. Wherever you walk in the world, Arunachala dances in the heart.
