Kleshas / Prarabdha / Vasanas

The kleshas are the afflictions of mind, prarabdha the portion of past karma now ripening, and vasanas the latent impressions that become the layers of the soul. In silence and Sharanagati, surrender, the cleansing happens on its own; the old grooves slowly burn away.
