Samsara
संसार
/sʌm.saː.rʌ/
Samsara is the round of worldly existence: birth, death, rebirth, the net of duties and desires you appear caught in. Punarapi jananam, punarapi maranam: again birth, again death, Shankara's lament for the soul lost in repetition. Yet samsara is not escaped by abandoning house and family; the way is the parallel path. With one hand you do your work; with the other, silently, you do your Sadhana. The fish slips out of the net by becoming small and quiet.
