00:30 — Welcome — Tapasya Series Continues
0:30 you so much for being here thank you to all the zoomers from all over the world taking the time to be here with us for your own evolving thank you for all of you so lovingly here beloved once coming a lot of new faces as well as old thank you lily thank you gracie for hosting again
1:00 Freedom. Total emancipation. No coming back. Wow. Two hands. All hands up.
1:09 That's wonderful. Makes my life a little bit easier because we can delve deep. Because, you know, we have a lot of advanced students who are all Zooming from San Diego. Our original group started there. So, last satsang.
1:30 It was 11th anniversary, last satsang. So Krishna already has put it on the website. So it's very important information. I'll briefly talk about it a little bit for those of you who have not attended. But you can go and watch it completely free and it's also no ads, ad free.
1:51 Because it's also going to be on YouTube.
2:00 month. And I looked at it and said, oh, what is this? So thank you again for being here and having
02:06 — Tapasya: The Heat of Liberation (Recap)
2:06 the patience to listen. So we talked about tapasya last time. Tapa means heat, fire. So fire of burning, no? Tapasya is when you want that fire, you want to be free. You want that freedom. So Creating that internal, you know, pure commitment for coming breaking free, no matter what it takes.
2:40 Okay. So we talked about a little bit last time and we gave this beauty. So what is Tapasya, right? So Tapasya is like making a foundation, okay, where you will not slip, you will not have any doubts. And that is your spiritual practice.
3:00 meditation, meditation, right? And there is some divine knowledge which we have talked about for 11 years. You can go and watch the YouTube videos that is already there which will help you a little bit. But basically what Tapasya is, what it really brings you to the space where you become aware.
3:20 Okay, awareness present all the time every moment. Awareness is always within you. You are to a certain extent aware of everything that's going on. what has to be done next moment, everything. But as you know, the research has proven, only 6% of the time, we are conscious. So I requested my students, if you can become 50% also, you'll become super conscious, become super human beings.
3:52 I'm not talking about going there and doing everything, no. I'm doing this and I'm doing that.
04:00 — Inner Renunciation — Burning the Ego-Mind
4:00 before all of that, there has to be an internal, inner renunciation. So whatever we're talking about in the first place, when newcomers, you know, you'll say, oh my God, what's she telling me to give up my life? How can I do that? I have a life, you know. You may not have a life, but I have a life, you know. You'll be saying that.
4:18 But the thing, the fact of the matter is, the truth of it is, if you do not commit completely to this eradication of your ego mind, you'll never make it. okay so the focusing is very important and the and humility is very very important you know so krishna says now it's better thank you so much for your patience thank you for coming so we're talking of tapasya tapasya is like you know you want tapasya see like we're doing the spiritual practice which is abhyasa spiritual abhyasa all the time but tapasya is kind of
5:00 who said, you know, Ma, the reason we have not come home till now is because we haven't really paid attention to that tapasya. Okay? So anybody here does not know tapasya, meaning of tapasya? You all know, right? You don't know the meaning of tapasya? Tapasya is spiritual practice.
5:18 Basically, it's spiritual practice. But spiritual practice is taken to another level, deeper level. You do your meditations, you'll be in a sadhaka for 30 years, you're in the path of realization, everything. why right because we are trying to deal with life we're trying to deal with deal with family everything else in the world and we call in sanskrit jagat okay so when you're doing the spiritual practice when we say tapasya basically it in sanskrit means burning that means you are you know intent to burn all of your impurities all of your prarabdha karmas means past life karmas which is already there on our website. Where do they look for the video?
6:08 Okay, simple enough right? So go to the videos and watch it because you will, you know, I don't want to keep repeating, we have to keep going deeper into the thing and you know spiritual, you know spirituality is a vast topic and I cannot do everything one day but we'll try to do as much as we can today. And is being very intent and doing the same thing looking at the burning right suppose now basically what we're saying is dropping your name and form the first thing you have to do is drop your name and form see what happens when you drop your name and form something within you dismantles
7:00 your name and form, isn't it? Because Prarabdha Karma is you are an embodiment of all the lifetimes put together and this lifetime as well. So Vasana means you can move your chair here because you're just above my I can't see you properly.
7:19 You're okay? If you're okay, sir. So when you're dropping your name why we say drop the name and form because it comes with a lot of ego positionalities. with positionality period okay which tells you you're a female you're a male you cannot you're a female you so you cannot do this you're a male and you have to do this you know there's a lot of this worldly you know perspectives put on us and we cannot be totally free and basically breaking free is what break you don't want to have sorrow anxiety all of that okay i can't even get the
08:00 — Faith in the Guru Principle
8:00 So basically tapasya is meditating, making a commitment, following the guru principle. Here is something very simple. You have to trust in something and you have to have faith. Suppose you are sitting here, you have to have faith in this one. If you have faith in the guru principle, because I just say guru principle, because there is no personality sitting here saying anything, right?
8:22 So if you have faith in the guru also, who flows through the guru? See, the guru has no more personality. you do this do that. Ishwara or the Supreme Consciousness only is flowing through that person. Now if you go to the Supreme Consciousness directly also he cannot come and say I am Shiva here do this do that. He can only flow through these gurus right. So humbly speaking just focus on that come for at least five to six satsangs so you will you will get an idea of what we are all Enlightenment knot is this fancy thing. It's very simple but it's not easy. Why it's not easy? You don't want to drop your toys. You know your toys. Each one of you know your own toys. You know, I don't have to say that. You know what I mean?
9:16 Ma, I will surrender completely. Just one item, you know, it's my old student. I just wanted to get a Jaguar all my life and I've been working for it. Now you cannot So what happens? So you can only, when you come to the, see in India, when you go and meet a guru, I'm not saying I'm something great.
9:40 When you go to meet the guru, you have to just do tapasya one to three to once to one year before you go and meet, because you have to be deserving to go and be in the presence of the enlightened being. So they do a lot of tapasya, the Eastern culture, you know.
10:00 that, that this knowledge, divine knowledge can be distilled very easily because we are only giving you the essence. I'm not sitting here and saying, I'm going to do the Bhagavad Gita. Okay, let's take chapter one and go on forever.
10:13 We'll all be old and you know. So, whatever my guru taught me, Swami Ishrananda Girid, he was a Vedantist. He was very, very staunch in all the Vedantic truths, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, everything.
10:30 So the essence of it, and I started, of course, I met him at nine years old and he initiated me at 16. So, you know, I've been at it for a while. But once you start getting that significant knowledge that you are consciousness,
10:46 — You Are Satchitananda — The Effulgent Light
10:46 you are the effulgent light, you are the Satchitananda.
11:00 No matter what aspect of life you are going through, do not ever forget you are the Satchitananda. Because always we are belittling, we are saying like, Oh you know, she is talking about all this enlightenment and I don't think I can make it this lifetime. Why?
11:17 See the only reason this one is sitting here still for 11 years and doing this, the first time we started, I never even thought I'll, you know, people are going to be interested or something. that state of irrevocable, right? That irrevocable state, that unshakable reality, why can't all of you?
11:38 We are, I'm sure, more capable than this one, more intelligent, being in the United States and everything. So it's really very simple if you just follow what we are telling you in this satsang. You don't have to amass the Upanishads, you don't have to read everything and know another important thing, okay?
12:00 surrender like a child you know the Ishwara or consciousness okay is there taking care of you at every moment now what you're doing with awareness you're surrendering you see what I'm saying you are given that okay this consciousness I'm not saying some God is going to come and take care of you that consciousness which we call the supreme reality is within you at every moment you are that
12:30 So once you kind of get a feeling of who you are within, then you will have the courage. Let my Swamiji say, become a warrior angel. You will have the courage to do this path parallelly. Because I was married and I had a couple of kids. And before that, my Swamiji said, do the parallel.
12:49 I said, Swamiji, I don't have time to meditate. You know, I don't have time for anything. He says, do the parallel path now. Don't tell your husband. Don't tell your husband.
13:02 We had a lot of couples, they both used to come to the satsang, so they were, you know, supporting each other. It's totally okay, everything is okay. So in the tapasya, what you have to do is, once you say, okay, I'm saying three, she's telling three times a day, meditate. So, I don't have that kind of time, you have 24 hours, 8 hours you sleep, 8 hours you sleep, 8 hours you go to work,
13:30 — Tapasya as Daily Discipline
13:30 So if you make, Tapasya is making up your mind to say this is very important for me and I need to do this on a regular basis. You cannot take a vacation. In the vacation also, you can be meditating. So Tapasya is constant meditation.
13:49 We talked about the beautiful analogy of the bamboo, no, last time. And for those who were there last time, I am repeating this very briefly. it's a sown you know in China they would take care of the bamboo for four to five years nothing not even a shoot is shown nothing no applause no saying I'm coming or anything like that but the farmers they're so diligent they keep on watering it they know underneath something is going on and it'll one day and within eight weeks it grows to 80 to 90 within a few weeks it grows to 80 to 90 feet
14:30 water. It's always in a watering hole, you know. The elephants used to come and drink. Anyway. So like tapasya is like that exactly. You have to be very strange.
14:42 You have to completely dedicate your life for that cause of freedom. Freedom from what? Because I'm telling you, this state of being is so beautiful. It's spectacular.
14:53 Once you come to reach it. But while you're on the path, you're going to get all of this trauma drama. because if you are not challenged, if you are not questioned, how will you become a strong individual? So unless that's what they say in the shastras, in our scriptures, that if you go through suffering, you come home earlier, because then only you go down on your knees and say, God, what are you doing to me?
15:25 Till then you are not worried. Life is beautiful, everything, suddenly you go through, surgery and you got one leg amputated and what you want to do? Your life completely falls short. So what we're trying to tell you here is our masters tell please know who you are first.
15:43 Know yourself first. Once you know yourself you can love the world, you can love everybody in the world but don't be attached. So lovingly unattached. We've said this for 10-11 years. don't love you have to love love is God God is love you have to love you love everybody you enjoy everybody because this entire world or the Jagat is created by Ishwara by existence consciousness super consciousness right universal consciousness created this oh my babies you know you enjoy so you enjoy everything the mountains the rivers the flowers I love flowers you know the
16:30 and we have to be so grateful. So suppose that's where the humility comes. When you are humble, you become so grateful for every morsel you are getting. Every morsel. And once you start doing your tapasya and say, okay, and as you are doing this abhyasa or spiritual practice, all this stuff is going to come up to be released.
16:55 So don't run for your life. Where are you going to run from yourself? So when those things are coming up, all of your past life karmas, you know, God is taking care of that. His universal consciousness is like a matrix.
17:12 It's like mathematics, right? They're taking care of it and it's happening at its own time, divine time. There's nothing you can do, you know.
17:27 Ramana Maharishi, you know, he says, controls your lives according to your prarabdha karma. Prarabdha karma is past life karmas. Karma means action. So it's good action, bad action, not so good action. According to that you reap. So he says, according to that your life is set up now and so whether you want to do something, also you cannot do it if it's not preordained and if you want to, you know, you don't want to do something also it will happen. Like we don't want to work, still will be working, will be thinking, am I going to work? You will still be working because that is how it's preordained. Now in the spiritual path you have to come to acceptance of however your life is set up and do the best you can. Once you accept, right? I'm not saying you have to be careless and sit down and say, oh, you know, Ma said like just meditate and give up everything. It's not like that, right?
18:22 Like Krishna was sharing the other day that he just said one day I'm all done. done with everything. I'm surrendering everything. See, surrender is a very, very important aspect of spirituality. Easy path is surrender. For me, it was surrender. You have self-inquiry and all that. You can, you know, the intelligent ones will go into self-inquiry.
18:44 Who am I and all that. That's all very good. So he said, I'm giving up. I'm not going to eat. I'm not going to drink. I'm going to lie on this couch. Okay? He just lay down there. He has decided, I'm finished.
18:55 Okay? Then after a few minutes, that's what he was telling me. He goes and checks the mail and you know whatever. So do not be afraid to let go because letting go is the most important thing. Letting go and you are trusting in what?
19:12 In that effulgent reality which is within you. Tattva Masi. That effulgent being is not somewhere else folks, it's within you. Because that's your natural state. is truth awareness and pure joy and the joy is simply radiating within you and because we are in the jagat we are in this world and very captured by the beauty of this are attracted by this and attracted by that so the main thing is drop all of your desires
20:02 Difficult? Any questions, challenges? Yes.
20:11 — Q&A — Lovingly Unattached (Desires for Loved Ones)
20:11 Does that include dropping the desire for your children to be healthy and happy? Yes. That's also a desire. See, as a mother, you want your children to be healthy and happy, and you know that. But don't be attached to the fact that you want the children to be healthy and happy. you will have a test coming up and somebody will, you know, have got this terrible illness and you don't know what to do with it. Just say, I'm so grateful for my beautiful children and I'm in this path and help me to, you know, just go with it because you will, thing is you're surrendering to a higher dimension, okay? You, you feel that you're very unlimited. So I'm telling you surrender
21:00 That limitless reality within you only are surrendering. So there has to be some kind of a faith, you know? Faith in the guru principle who is telling you blah, blah, blah. Been there, done that, you know. Okay? So everything becomes a desire, but you simply, you know, you simply witness it.
21:17 Most of these desires, when it comes up, you simply witness it. Is it a desire of the world? I have to go get this job and make like a million dollars. How is that possible, right? That's definitely a desire. You want to get your Jaguar card?
21:29 That's a desire. You know, you want to, and also perspectives. Okay, watch your perspectives. Because every time there is a desire, there's an expectation for it to be fulfilled. And if the expectations does not happen, which most probably it will not, because if you are in the spiritual path, God is always testing you.
21:47 Okay, this is what I'm talking from my own experience. And the more I let go and the more I surrendered, I said, what is going to happen? What's the worst is going to happen to me? So I die, so what? When in spiritual language, when we say death, what is death? It's only death of the ego.
22:06 Once the ego dies, only you fully become aware, you're fully super conscious, and you're only then beginning to live. Even then, you only scratch the surface. Okay, makes sense? But if any of you here have a question now, this is a very long, arduous path. you know you can do multitasking and take care of your kids you know all of a lot of you are much younger you can i i did this and i was there and been that you know like five and uh no there were six and ten and i'm going into this deep meditations and six hours a day and i'm going okay what's going to happen you know six and ten but everything just fell into place surrendered, I surrendered and surrendered. At that time I thought, okay, I won't make it.
23:04 So how am I here? See, I'm just telling you this example because not to talk about this one, telling you the example. So if it's doable for this one, it's doable for you under any circumstances. The only criteria is you are confident and you put the application to the infinite reality within you that I want freedom in this lifetime. That's all you need to do and
23:30 this very intimate relationship with the divine. It could be form, formless. I'll take the form also. If you like Jesus, if you like Shambhu, if you like whatever.
23:42 I say Ishwara means it's Shiva. Shiva means consciousness. It's not Shiva with the snake and all that. That's also okay. Beautiful. He's always beautiful. Shiva means consciousness.
23:53 There's no... It's international language in Sanskrit. So, can we go delve deeper? So Tapasya is not giving up. Okay?
24:06 You cannot be like little bit lethargic or anything like that. You will pay the price. I mean, it's okay, you know, if you want. If you say you have a happy life and you are all done and everything and I really don't want to do this, I'm quite happy, that's fine. So I'm not forcing anybody.
24:21 Because you're sitting here, there's a reason why you're sitting here. Because you want freedom from what you already have. You may be a millionaire, you may be whatever, it doesn't matter. The freedom is when you are not agitated with the world. Every time we are agitated with what's happening around, you know now what's happening around.
24:40 So agitated. You think you can change it? The only way you can change is by meditating and sending that ripple effect into the universe of peace, contentment, joy, tranquility, serenity.
25:00 — Death of the Ego — Beginning to Truly Live
25:00 Serenity, tranquility, love, unconditional love. So when you come to the state of irrevocable state, that compassion and unconditional love, it's a given. It will be flowing. You cannot help it.
25:15 Because you're so full of it, in a good way. You're so full. You're flowing, overflowing. You cannot help it. Why do you have to do so much? No, you cannot do that, Ma.
25:26 There are 50 people in the love line. You'll die. die you know they'll come and tell me you know especially in India this is you know a lot of people come so we had like 90 some 92 people at the last day I was literally like I was out of gas but till they come to the love line we're going to have a love line here to meet after if you prefer and don't wait for me to say come you just stand in the line and so we can move faster the thing is every time each person comes I'm fully powered okay I'm fully powered because one is doing then give them the shakti part everything and then you know yeah and the next one is coming i'm fully powered okay i'm saying this state what happens somebody is conducting your life and he's also giving you the energy okay so at the end of it everybody comes 50 people 60 people whatever we've finished everything and i'm getting up and i'm i'm like oh i'm like a drunkard you know so chris is always like he's like his hands are around me like that okay she's going
26:30 And you're not bothered, you see, at that state of consciousness, you are with the divine. You don't know the environment. You're very aware there are people sitting and all that. But, you know, you're with that. That consciousness is flowing.
26:42 Like in Tiruvannamalai, we had Arunachala, which is the famous mountain. You can read about it, you know. Google it, Arunachala. I'm not going to spend too much time. But the power is amazing, okay? Nowhere in the world you can find that power.
27:00 In Kailash, that's the abode of Shiva. Mount Kailash, Everest Mount Kailash is an abode of Shiva.
27:06 — Arunachala — Shiva Himself
27:06 But Arunachala is Shiva himself. The mountain is Shiva himself. It's Ardhanarishwar, which is Shiva and Shakti together. Huge, it's powerful. So, you know, I'm very intimate with him, you know, because for 25 years I've meditated at his feet.
27:22 So every time, as soon as I enter the hall, and I don't even want to say, hi, this one, you know, this body enters the hall, the back, the breezes start flowing, you know. And after a while, you know, we had the satsang for a month and the people who were sitting in front, after a few times they came, they were coming for the satsang, they would start laughing.
27:42 Oh, the mahas entered, now the breezes are blowing, you know. So such amazing miracles will happen in your life. Like they say like, right, even now, without even awareness, there are 21 miracles in your life, but you're not aware of even one. So today, you know, I worked so hard, nothing happened.
28:00 Maintained by that divine consciousness. And you worked hard because of that Ishwara's grace. Okay, so tapasya is working hard. And then, you know, gratitude, no? Having gratitude is very, very important. So any questions on that?
28:16 Is that doable? Is that workable? Because see, even when you're young and you have kids, because I always said the same thing. I have kids. I take care of them.
28:24 Take them to ballet. Take them to karate. Take them here. And, you know, all kinds of things. do it because there was that seed planted by my guru and said like, you know, he didn't even say come home.
28:35 He just was just sitting there and listening to his talks. You know, something within me said like, I want moksha. I didn't even know what it was. I want moksha. Swami just talked about moksha. I want moksha.
28:50 And later on, you know, I've been delved deep into it and I found that it was simply amazing. Every time you sit and meditate, You are bringing that silence of the soul, because the soul is earning for it.
29:06 The silence. Every time we are talking, we are doing.
29:12 — Drop the Doership — Karma Yoga
29:12 Another very important thing is to drop the doership. See, remember till the day you die, you are going to be doing. Till the day this one dies, this one multi-task even now, you will not believe how many things this one does. But your doing is happening, but there is no doer there.
29:30 doing this. I have to do this. If I don't do it, who else is going to do it? That type of a thing. So the doership, so when the personality drops also, the doership drops and you come to a state of this constant peace. So when you're following all of this, I'm telling you, you come to a sense of constant peace because you're meditating in the morning and you're saying, telling God,
30:00 I have a list. Every meditation, you have a list, no? My kids have to be fine. My older son is going for graduation. He's doing sex exams. He must pass.
30:12 Then he had grown up. He's educated. He became a doctor. Now when are you going to get married? There is no end to our freaking desires, folks. Unless we just stop it and say, you know what?
30:26 What am I spending my life? How am I spending my life? Do I have peace in my heart? Peace, that's it. If you're experiencing peace and you dropped every other thing, you have peace, right?
30:42 With peace, what comes? Contentment. You're so peaceful, so therefore you're content. If you're content, you're very happy with a little more.
30:52 You're not saying, this year I have to cut that 100,000 mark. I have to earn. satisfied in your content with whatever God is offering to you at this moment and then life becomes spectacular. I'm not dangling a carrot and saying life will become spectacular.
31:11 It may not be spectacular at all. You may be living in a hut but you'll be so happy. I think I live in a hut right now. It's Kutir. Kutir means hut. So the moment you become very place and I have to read something from my teacher. So any questions on this abhyasa or practice, spiritual practice? Any questions? So you got it then, huh? See at any time when you see yourself, you witness yourself stepping back a little bit and you're, I'll tell you a
32:00 So I'll talk a little bit very briefly about calibration. Just to give you an example.
32:04 — Dr. David Hawkins on Calibration
32:04 You know Dr. David Hawkins, he calibrated everything. So where everybody is beautiful, you are the self, you are me, I am you, all of that is there. But every person is of a different vibration. So say they came into our satsang in Jewish community center in San Diego.
32:30 meant it's the sweetest space you can be but that's just scratching the surface okay till the day you die you're still learning you're growing okay when you're like go with that you're simply flowing so they would come and in one satsang they would go up by a hundred points just to give you an idea what happens here so at that time dr hawkins said you know one guy said like doc what's going to happen everything's falling apart in my world what's going to happen he said I ever going to come to enlightenment? So Dr. Hawkins says, if you're up by six points, you're doing great. And I read every one of Dr. Hawkins book at that time, you know, highlighted every page and everything. So why I'm telling you this is it's important. So these guys would come and I would, I was able to calibrate, so they would come and I would see like one or two bright lights guy he's like so radiant you know she's like so radiant oh so are you going to come again to next satsang it's not like i'm getting anything but i just just make other people happy you know so they'll go and they'll i said oh my god this person just went to like 100 points or did 500s or something then they go home and they you know they go home and what happened is the vibration drops because you're not in that dimension of that space that field which is holding you with holding you, supporting you completely.
34:02 And then you go home and you just want your blanket. Come back to the 400. So this feels so comfortable. You know what I mean? So when you're dropping like that, you'll feel very comfortable.
34:14 It's okay. Be very kind to yourself. It's okay. But then again, you have to get back on the saddle and start meditating. Three times.
34:21 You know, somebody, an old student of ours, brought up when I was talking to him, saying that, Ma, you haven't spoken about meditation in a long time. You're talking about all this, you know, because of the new satsang we have here.
34:35 — Meditate Three Times a Day
34:35 So meditation three times a day is important for beginners, you know. How many, all of you are meditators? How many hours can you meditate in a day? I know you'll sit here for an hour. In a day, how many hours do you meditate? Pardon me?
34:51 30 minutes. Not enough.
35:00 So she was dressed very beautifully and all. There's no judgment here, okay? I just have to, I like to be light and joke a little bit, you know. So she came with a beautiful shawl when she was just gorgeous, beautiful looking. And one of my old neighbors, you know, sadhakas, you know, my student said, Ma, can I bring with this friend of mine?
35:19 And I said, okay, what is her background? You know, before I used to be very strict. What is her background? Oh, she's been meditating for 30 years. Oh, okay. How long?
35:31 30 minutes a day for 30 years, she'll go on for another 40, never come home. So anyway, she came and she was with this beautiful shawl and everything, and I could tell that that was her. And she was asking me a question about planets. So, you know, I mean, self-talks, right?
35:47 I mean, not going to fool around. I'm just, somebody told me that you just don't, you cut through all the crap. So I said, why are you so worried about planets? Do you know who you are? you know, like I believe in planets and I believe in this thing and all that. We believe in all of this cosmos, but don't waste your time. Okay, like somebody that day was something, oh, I think, you know,
36:09 — Brahman Satya, Jagat Mithya
36:09 I got hijacked, my mind got hijacked, my mind got sabotaged because, you know, there's some planetary changes or I think it's all that is going on in the world. That's why I'm saying drop the world. It's only Brahman, Satya, Jagat, Mitya, end of story. You know what that means?
36:27 Brahman means that alone, that is pure consciousness alone is the truth, jagat mithya. Mithya means it's false. Actually, if you go deep into the word mithya, it means that which is supported by something. You cannot call it completely unreal. It's not real, but it's not unreal either, because it's supported by something else, which is pure consciousness. So if the world is supported
37:00 this is a beautiful rose. There's nothing there, right? Unless you, the effulgent reality, looks at something and appreciates it. Without you, there is no world. So why we are so enamored of this world?
37:14 So basically, you got the mithya.
37:16 — Adi Shankaracharya — Nirvana Shatakam
37:16 So what Acharya, Shankaracharya, before going, he had only five disciples. And before going, he wrote, you know, everybody, if you go and check on Adi Shankaracharya, he's the lineage of my guru. year old boy, you know, he came like Nirvana Shatakam. He has this beautiful composition.
37:34 Nirvana Shatakam is Chidananda Rupam Shivoham Shivoham. The old people have said it many times because, you know, Chidananda Rupam, you are the embodiment of pure love and joy and consciousness. I am Shiva. I am Shiva. It was an eight year old boy who said this. I was still looking for a guru. He went on the mountains, looked for a guru. He found the guru. Guru said, who are you? He didn't His name is Shankara.
38:01 He was born in Kerala. He didn't say my name is Shankara. He said, I am not this body. I am not the five senses. I was never born. I never lived.
38:12 I do not have a father. I do not have a mother. I am not a student. Neither am I a guru finished. And this goes on. It's a beautiful composition.
38:22 Okay, so when he grew up, he became a great guru. Of course, went north, south, east, west of India gave the Vedantic truths and brought Sanatha Dharma back. So anyway, when he was leaving the earth, like, he's the only one, nobody knows, he never died, his body never died, okay, he just disappeared.
38:43 So in the Himalayas, the five disciples were going with him and then he said, Brahman Satya Jagat Mithya and he just walked away. He says, Guru, what are you doing?
38:54 How can you leave us? You can't leave us now. You're going. I'm all done. It was 32 years. He just went and disappeared like a, he was wearing an orange robe, one speck and just disappeared into the white snow.
39:06 And I went and actually visited that shrine, that place where he disappeared. And it was just like, even till today, till today means I visited about maybe 15, 20 years ago. It was absolutely magical. Vibrations, it was like vibrating, you know. And I tried to walk down because where he disappeared, they had a little, what do you call it, railing.
39:30 you can't go all that way. I said, no, I'm going. And I kept walking and he said, I better go at the back of it. And he kept folding my hand. It was just unbelievable. Anyway, a lot of experiences like that. So when you come to the state of experiencing the divine in everything that you see, like when I look at her face and your face, all that I see is the divinity.
39:52 Your capacity within you, that effulgent light within you, if I can do it, you can do it. who came to Thiruvannamalai India, you're also new so I'm just trying to going in there. So this is the most beautiful. Now if you ask me today do you need anything or do you want anything? What do you think my answer is? Anybody?
40:20 Who asked you? He's been with me so much he knows all of it. Oh my goodness. to read. In the meantime, if you have any questions, let me know. I'll just get you some.
40:41 — Verse From My Guru — Bridging Consciousness and Action
40:41 So, this is the verse from my guru. He has written innumerable books. He's just studied the Vedantic truth back of his hand. He will just recite like words out of the Bhagavad Gita, like he doesn't even have to look at the thing, you know, but I'm not a scholar at all. So, any act of yours does not depend upon the intent or effect of it.
41:08 How much you do and how much it affects others, these are completely irrelevant to the lasting values of life. It's totally irrelevant. You know, when we do things, this is like dropping the doership. That's where this came up and I said, oh, this is beautiful. So when you drop the doership, you're simply doing that energy of divine consciousness because you are the divinity.
41:33 So you are flowing with that energy of consciousness, just giving beautifully to everybody. And you are not saying, Oh, she did not thank me. You know, I spent so much of my time, 40 years of my life, and you never thanked me even once.
41:46 You know, but when you do it without expectation of that thankfulness, then Bhagavad Gita, Karma Yoga, right? You do karma. Krishna says, you do the karma. Don't expect any fruits of your labor.
42:00 and all is taken care of. That's why we talk about surrender. It's so simple. It's so easy. And there's something what happens is when you surrender and totally you're saying, okay, I'm 100%.
42:11 Don't say 85%, ma. I can surrender maybe 50%, not 100%, you know. Go check. Witness yourself. Why is that you can't, pardon me, let go completely and surrender to that Ishvara within you?
42:24 I'm not telling you to surrender to this one or anybody else. bridge the gap between your state of consciousness and the action flowing out of it, the more perfect will be that act and through it, the more elevated your person. Isn't that beautiful? So every act you do, if you're connected with that effulgent reality, not saying that effulgent reality is somewhere else, I'm here.
42:55 No, you are connected with that at this moment. flowing your act of dharma, of karma, whatever. How beautiful is that act? You'll be just doing that act and then you'll walk away. And then suddenly that person will realize, oh my god, I mean, I feel so great. What happened now, you know? So, you're all ready for the transmission.
43:22 Newcomers, hold on to your chairs. Don't run away. Because see, this is the fire element, because one hour of meditation so this is the fire Arunachala is the fire element because it's one of the Jotrilingam's so it's a fire element so I cannot help it I cannot meet people you saw us can you just reduce the heat a little bit it's not a thermostat okay it's just flowing
44:00 we are going to sing we are going to play a beautiful there is no way I can sing at this point anyways we are going to play a beautiful bhajan very very simple bhajan and the meaning it is a Shiva bhajan so those who are going to miss it they are going to miss it
44:16 — Bhajan: Shambho Shankara — Om Namah Shivaya
44:16 there is Shambho Shankara Om Namah Shivaya Hara Hara Mahadeva see Hara Hara means removal of all your obstacles every time we go to Shiva temple we say Hara Hara Mahadeva what your traumas are and your dramas are you're simply saying hara hara maha dev please delete all of these calamities in my life these imperfections in my life these impurities in my life hara hara maha dev shambho shankara it says tere charana you don't worry about the hindi i'm just reading it so that i'll remember the meaning tere charana me shanti mile means your lotus feet
45:00 and tranquility. Manu ko tere sahare mile. Sahare means support. So to my mind, I got a lot of support when I see your presence.
45:13 And it says, Bole naath suno teri pukaru haruko mere man ka bar. Harulo mere man ka bar means Bole naath is the innocent God. He is always very, very innocent.
45:30 and you ask for something, you say, okay, take and you'll give it right away. That's why the Asura has got into trouble, you know. So, so Manuka Bar means your everything in your mind that has become your burden, please release me from that burden, Shambho Shankara. Okay?
46:06 Shivaaya Oh Om Namaha Shivaaya Om Namaha Shivaaya Har Har Mahadeva
46:34 Shambho Shankara Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya

51:49 — Guided Meditation (Infinite Grace Transmission)
51:49 Sit comfortably. Sit comfortably.
52:02 and exhale dropping everything that does not serve you.
52:13 Taking a deep breath, inhaling light, peace, love and exhale dropping even further.
52:30 This one hour, one last time taking a deep breath, inhaling light, peace, love. Dropping everything, exhale, dropping everything and just being for this one hour. Not even wanting to be enlightened, dropping everything and just being free.
[52 minutes of silent meditation]
1:46:24 — Coming Out of Meditation
1:46:24 Slowly come out. Don't open your eyes yet
1:46:44 Take in a gentle breath, inhaling light, peace, love.
1:47:03 Take a gentle breath, inhaling light, peace, love. And exhale, dropping further and letting go, letting go of everything that does not serve you.
1:47:31 inner renunciation. One last time deep inhalation, inhaling light, peace, love and exhale. Just continue to be in this altered state even though we are coming
1:48:07 the highest and best for you not to dissipate the energy is not to speak much
1:48:25 slowly open your eyes when you are ready
1:48:50 Thank you so much for your patience.
1:49:00 How you all doing?
1:49:08 Okay, good, not so good.
1:49:18 I just want to repeat something regarding the spiritual practice. So as you are delving deep into the spiritual knowledge we are talking about and you're
1:49:30 — Make the Foundation Tight
1:49:30 you are making that foundation really tight. That is the main tapasya. When you make the foundation very tight, you don't have any doubts. You don't fall off the saddle every time. You are simply witnessing.
1:49:46 See, all of that, your falsities that are coming out, it has to be witnessed. You are the policeman and you are the thief. You have to witness your own incapacities and let them go.
1:49:58 That is the tapasya, right? So once you get established in that abhyasa or spiritual practice, then you slowly start experiencing that unshakable reality. You slowly start experiencing that sweet nectar that flows for you without you doing anything but giving time for that meditation, giving time for that silence.
1:50:30 Just don't worry so much. You're here. Everything is taken care of. Because in the, you know, he had a Q&A, so anybody interested in question and answers, you know, Krishna has Q&A, we'll set up one. Please, pertaining to what you have listened to in the satsang, please ask those questions pertaining so that when you're slipping away from Q&A and coming back to the satsang, okay and any other questions you can write to me directly get my number from Krishna or you can write to the Seva team please get acclimatized to the website because there is so much in the website there's so much information there's also testimonials which we are not updated but actually I wanted to read something because what happens is we are giving you the spiritual knowledge okay so those are the two things I was going to please don't worry about do is get yourself here. If you want to go, if you want to do this path, you know, not forcing anybody. If you want to do this path, just get yourself here. Everything else is taken care of.
1:51:43 Because we can just tell you all the spiritual knowledge and take you home. Okay? You're going to be back to square one. So what the Infinite Grace Transmission does is absolutely clear you
1:52:00 I have no idea. I put a disclaimer. I have no idea. The infinite flows through so tremendously. Pretty much when I go home, I can't do anything else. I have to actually lie down. The Shakti is too much. So what is there for you to worry? It's all preordained. It's already taken. Why you are all here and not somebody else? It's all preordained. You're here for a certain reason. This infinite reality has brought you here for a certain reason. So just have faith for a few sessions if you're interested, you know, and then we can take you deep because everything cannot be said in one hour. So slowly we'll take you deep.
1:52:41 And I just wanted to read to you. So we have privates also. They'll take you maybe. If you want a private, take you some time because there are a lot of people waiting list. But in the private, what happens is this infinite grace transmission is given one on one, right?
1:53:00 — Reading: A Student's Testimonial
1:53:00 So after that, one of my students sent this text and I thought it was so beautiful. And, you know, again, like we explained in the first part of the satsang, every act you do is a flow from that divinity that you truly are. So it's not like this personality is doing something for that one and I need some accolades.
1:53:24 So it's like unconditional. It just like really makes your heart so happy. And it's very fulfilling because something you just feel you're doing like a speck in the universe. And somebody feels so benefited by it. So I just wanted to read this.
1:53:47 There is no way to adequately describe the brilliance and all experiences in today's grace.
1:54:00 so much in the head. Oh, so much in the head. Because all of your kleshas, you're thinking, everything is in the head. So the sahasrara is the crown. We start with the sahasrara and go down. Then the vibrations that felt physical but were not physical throughout the entire being. Such power. Had to sit for a while after the hour but then needed food so made some soup. Had this for unconditional love. That unconditional love permeates this entire being and existence, received and transmitted over and over. The true gift of the Guru. Thank you, beloved Guru. Thank you. So it just touched my heart so much. Because, you know, when you don't expect anything, because when we are transmitting this thing, I don't know how this also came, this all his
1:55:00 I just want to hide in a cave. I didn't want to have anything to do with anybody. I said, I'm all done. Even today I'm saying, I'm done. Okay, Shambhu, anytime soon you want to take this one, you know. Because it's like so complete, right? Your life is so complete. And at every moment you are at peace and you're in tranquility, right? And you're filled with love.
1:55:30 session I have more energy not back to where I was prior to the heart incident but way better than the last several weeks thank you so this just like it came to me to read it because then you you'll know the benefit and how it can impact your being okay just by the transmissions so another thing which I want to tell the zoomers also there's just the transmission on the YouTube the transmission. You don't have to listen to everything. And even if you want to look at the recent satsang that he has put, which is the April 11th satsang, it's for those of you who want to see it and who miss coming. You can fast forward all the talking and can go to the transmission.
1:56:18 But this particular transmission we have put, there are two. One is very old and the second one, that particular transmission was so powerful for even for me that I told him like, I think, And it's beyond space and time. So do not say, well, that's in the past.
1:56:34 You know, the mind will come and tell you all kinds of things. This, we've been doing it for 11 years. And this is only, I'm only talking from the experiences of people who have given us the feedbacks. There was one recently, one brand new student. I don't know her that, I don't know her personally, but she's from Germany, I think.
1:56:53 And she said she attended the first satsang, I believe. leave. Like she couldn't get out of bed, but more than anything she said, there was such a clarity because before she was completely dissolved in her mind and she just said, I don't know what to do with this life kind of thing. And in one session she attended, this was on Zoom, not even person.
1:57:16 She, you know, benefited her. So you just have to tune in, have some faith and just give it a try. It doesn't work for you. No problem. You know, no problem with this one. So thank you so much all of your enthusiasm to come and break free this lifetime thank you so much and then you know it's not like we are breaking free it's like hard life yeah you have to do your tapasya like if you go and do a phd right you're going to do your dissertation and it's going to kick butt and you're not going to just say yeah i'm doing my phd and then land up there and after two years nothing has happened right you have to work at it but everything in life you have to work at it so this is just a little bit of an investment for your own peace of mind that's all i'm saying and i'm literally guaranteeing you that you can come to a better space than you are right now then in which you are right now because in whatever levels of consciousness you are you'll get bumped up much higher and then that's that level of consciousness you're going to feel
1:58:30 I came to that feeling.
1:58:31 — Build His Home — The Chida Akash Story
1:58:31 I'm saying like, you know, nothing much to do. You know, so many experiences anyway. Arunachala is, I mean, I did all my meditations there in Thirvana Malay, in front of Arunachala, because we had a property. My parents lived at the foothills of Arunachala. And that was also a big miracle.
1:58:51 And how we built the Chida Akash with the meditation hall was also a miracle. Everything was a miracle. And I didn't have anything to do with it. the property for three children. And then I asked him, like, Shambhu, what do I do with it?
1:59:04 He says, let the grass grow. Nothing to do right now. So I just kept quiet because anyway, I didn't have the funds or anything. One day I was sitting and Ramana Maharishi's picture I had in front.
1:59:15 I came out of the meditation. I was just looking at him. And then, you know, Shambhu came and said, build my home, build my home. And I'm saying, oh, build your home? Like, you mean, Thiruvana Malaysia?
1:59:27 Like, literally, it's like such an intimate conversation you can literally have, you know. And then he says, yeah, time for the grass to go, and then you build. And I'm saying, where do I get the funds? I mean, I had no idea.
1:59:41 I had to fight for the funds, but anyway, that's a different story. You know, everything just happened. My brother was in construction. My son-in-law was an architect. So my daughter said, Mom, you don't have to go to any other architect.
1:59:54 He'll design it for you. And I told him, and I had a vision the hall was very big and there were people standing like packed hall and people were standing so I told him we build the two bedroom two bath and up on the top you're going to build the entire space of thousand square feet it's going to be a room and he said Amma who's going to come I said build and they will come I have no idea this is the vision I got this is what I want and then in front of Arunachala we had the big opening you know that was the vision I got and the mountain, you know, and there's like spectacular electricity. I mean, I can't even describe.
2:00:35 You have to come next year. So everything was a miracle. So he designed it. He says, okay, do you want it like this? I told him exactly what I knew. I mean, not that I knew. I was just told, do this. So he just designed it beautifully. And then my brother constructed it. And, you know, the funds came from Marunachala. I had to fight for it a little bit. So anyway, so what I'm I'm trying to tell you is not my personal life, but to tell you and inspire you that this is possible in this lifetime. And after you come to that state, it's splendorous. Okay. It's splendorous. There is nothing you really do, but you're doing so many things. That is super conscious state of living. And yet you're very humble. You don't talk about it at all, you know.
2:01:30 would you like to come to that state? Not sure? You're scared? So she said like one of the ladies are saying there's so many paths and so much magic is coming into her life and don't know which path to choose. If you start focusing what what we have said you will be guided from within because you're still going into that effulgent light which is a supreme reality for guidance. You're saying oh okay right now I really don't know all this beauty is happening in my life
2:02:04 — Choose Your Path & Closing Gratitude
2:02:04 but where do I go because you definitely have to choose a path I mean that's the key point okay because there are a lot of people who are doing little bit here a little bit there a little bit there you'll be doing that all your life you cannot focus and and you'll be very confused because each path will say because everything are all I tell my students there are so many gazillion modalities and paths and everybody
2:02:30 does strike your heart? Where do you feel the most comfortable? And where do you feel you are supported by the Guru Principle? Or whoever is, you know. And also the calibrations, you know. Of the person who is saying that they are going to guide you.
2:02:50 Their energy talks, folks. Their energy talks. So, I am saying that only Arunachala flowing so that that's why I'm guaranteeing you because it's like divinity flowing through this one and this one has been picked so thank you so much for coming and I really appreciate it thank you to all the zoomers for taking the time I know in Europe it's very very late and they still zoom thank you so much for coming thank you thank see you next time I think May 9th thank you so much Gracie for hosting so sweet of you to host this
